Our spring-fed, 1/2 acre lake is only stocked with rainbow trout. We try not to stock anything under 9 inches, and some trout caught have been up to 20 inches. The average catch, which is approximately 11 inches, can weigh more than a pound. These trout are pampered by us until they are caught by you. They promise to be good eating, especially when you use one of the recipes that we will give you.

This is the perfect spot to bring the kids fishing, they are guaranteed to go home with at least one catch, or your visit is free. They will absolutely love it. How many times have you taken them fishing, only to have them run out of patience before the fish start biting? Here that won't happen! Our staff can demonstrate techniques that will have the fish striking instantly. So even beginner fishermen and fisherwomen can have a lot of fun.

To reduce the risk of contamination, no outside equipment is allowed for fishing, and no food or alcoholic beverage is allowed in the fishing area. We furnish the rods and bait. We also provide a bucket of water to store them in, while you continue to fish. After you have finished fishing, we clean them so that they are ready to cook.  Upon checking out you will receive a list of recipes for cooking up your day's catch.

OK so all this sounds good so far; so you ask HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME!

Well let's see what it will cost you to go fishing somewhere else first.

If you get lucky, maybe you will catch 1 or 2 little puny fish that are so thin that you can't clean them or they will disappear.

Here where you don't have to pay for any of that other stuff your cost is 70 cents per inch for the trout you actually catch. You will also need one permit ($3.00) per group, as long as all fish travel together.

Number of 11 inch fish
Total Cost with Permit (+ Tax)

When you stop and think about it, 70 cents an inch sounds pretty good doesn't it.  You could catch 5 to 6 fish per fisherman for what it would cost you to license up and maybe not catch anything at all.

Here you only pay for what you catch! Also if the kids manage to get bored before you catch anything your fishing adventure is free.
